Digital business models at cultural academy
Challenge
Under the auspices of the European Cultural Region, Central Denmark Region wanted to create a platform for competence development of cultural actors in Central Jutland within a number of business-critical areas. Digital development was one of the areas where, among other things, training was needed that clarified best-cases, methods and development potentials within digital organization and digital business development, payment walls and the like to the boards and management boards of 25 institutions.
Solution
BARC delivered the teaching in several of the course's teaching sessions and, among other things, gave the participating institutions an overview of the digital premises for today's cultural institutions and digital organisation, as well as an insight into digital business development and the opportunities the field holds for cultural life. We developed teaching material and exercises in collaboration with the instructor/responsor throughout the course and also delivered material to Midtjysk Kulturakadem's digital platform "Midt i Kulturen" where the most important tools and resources were made available for the benefit of even more institutions.
