About this event
BARC Friday Hacks are brief introductions to potential business areas and mindsets that may be easily discovered, described, tested and implemented. Our 'hackers' are international specialists who will advise our online guests on how to establish different sustainable business models. Our guideline for chosing specialists and topics is the BARC Circle of Resilience™.
As part of BARCs participation in the global campaign, Museum Shop Sunday, we invite you to join Saskia Boersma, a UK expert in global licensing and product development, via Google Meet for some insider 'hacks'. Sharing her top tips on how choosing the right stories and objects from your collections can help strengthen branding and open up new product design opportunities no matter what size your organisation is or how unusual the subject matter.
Museum Shop Sunday 2020 aims to bring together cultural organisations of all themes and sizes in a network of sharing and learning. Building a community upon which Scandinavian cultural institutions can grow, evolve, and thrive. As part of the 2020 campaign we have invited a selection of leading museum professionals to participate in a series of short monthly talks sharing their top tips, career lessons, and business insight.
The online session will involve a 20 minute talk followed by a 10 minute Q&A with partipants. The event is free but please register for a ticket so we can share the details and link with you before the event begins.
